Privacy Policy

The short version

• You can use LandingPrep without an account. Your progress is stored locally in your browser by default.
• We never sell your personal data, and we don't run intrusive ad networks.
• An optional free account only adds cross-device progress sync.
• You can request deletion of your data any time at support@landingprep.com.

What we collect

• Progress & preferences — your test history, streaks and settings are saved in your browser's local storage. They never leave your device unless you create an account.
• Optional account data — if you sign up, we store your name and email and a securely hashed password to sync progress across devices.
• Analytics — we use Google Analytics 4 to understand which pages and tools are used (aggregate, not used to identify you personally).
• Error reports — if a page breaks, a short technical error message is sent to us so we can fix it. It contains no personal data.
• Newsletter — only if you choose to subscribe, we store your email to send study tips. One-click unsubscribe is in every email.

Smart features

When you use a smart tool (the band checker, speaking/writing partner or smart tutor), the text or transcript you submit is sent to Google's Gemini API to generate feedback. We do not use your submissions to train models, and we don't store them beyond what's needed to show your result. Do not paste sensitive personal information into smart tools.

Cookies & third parties

We use a small number of essential and analytics cookies (mainly Google Analytics). Optional accounts and sync are powered by Google Firebase. Our smart features use the Google Gemini API. These providers process data under their own privacy policies. We do not use third-party advertising trackers.

Your rights & contact

You can access, correct or delete your data, or opt out of analytics, at any time. Email support@landingprep.com and we'll action your request. LandingPrep is not directed at children under 13; if you believe a child has provided data, contact us and we'll remove it.

Data deletion

You can request deletion of all data LandingPrep holds about you at any time. To delete your data:

1. Email support@landingprep.com from the address linked to your account, with the subject "Delete my data".
2. We verify the request and permanently delete your account and associated personal data within 30 days, and confirm by email.

If you connected to LandingPrep through Instagram or Facebook, this same process removes any data we received via that login. Most of LandingPrep works with no account at all, in which case we hold no personal data tied to you. Questions about data deletion: support@landingprep.com.
