- What documents do I need for a student visa?
- Every country wants the core set: a valid passport, your university offer/admission letter, proof of funds, an English test score (if required), academic transcripts, photos, an SOP, and the completed visa form with fee. On top of that each country adds its own — for example a CAS and TB test for the UK, a Letter of Acceptance + proof of funds (GIC) for Canada, a Form I-20 + SEVIS fee for the USA, a blocked account for Germany, and a Confirmation of Enrolment + OSHC health cover for Australia. - When should I start collecting documents?
- Start 3–6 months before your intake. Some items take time — the UK's 28-day financial-holding rule, Canada's medical exam and biometrics, Germany's APS certificate and blocked account, and the USA's SEVIS fee and visa-interview slot all need lead time. Build your checklist early and track each item.
- Can I use an education loan as proof of funds?
